Light Guardianship is a ‘hands-off’, ‘light-touch’ service that gives students their independence, whilst giving parents peace of mind and meeting school/college regulations.
The purpose of ‘Light’ guardianship is to support students who don’t need full pastoral care but require a secure 24/7 contact for emergencies.
This service suits students who travel home during school holidays and arrange their own exeats. Many parents choose it to meet school requirements.
In emergencies, ‘Light’ Guardianship finds premium-rate homestay accommodation. It’s also suitable for older students attending college who need to fulfill legal care requirements for under-18s.

We accept a 6 week notice period to change the guardianship level or terminate the service.
