- School Staff Training in 'International students, Guardians and the Law' - We assist schools in formulating a guardianship policy consistent with best practice, especially in view of the latest legislation and the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools, 2002. The programme is run either at school premises or in our Head Office by Andrew Sutherland, the originator and co-founder of AEGIS, accompanied by fellow educationalists and, on request, specialist lawyers. - Our UK Guardian Network now extends nationwide. From all corners of England, Sutherland families offer every opportunity for students to enhance their cultural experience. They are warm, friendly and fun-to-be-with and so, students can have a wonderful time - and be successful in their studies too!
- Be in the right place at the right time for all the right reasons and enjoy it! With Sutherland Education, overseas Students can now tap into our archive of first-hand knowledge of UK educational institutions and courses. The records of over 4000 students' courses form the basis of our evaluations. With new research we have been able to extend the range of our services to include: holiday courses, be they language, revision or sports camps in the UK (UK Courses) and a comprehensive placement service which has been developed not only to include schools but also Sixth Form Colleges, Colleges of Further Education and Universities (School selection, University Placement).
 You are never too old! Our Guardianship Service is highly flexible and caters for all ages. For example, for mature students attending Sixth Form Colleges, Colleges of Further Education and Universities, it combines independence with immediate advice always at hand on any practical matters, as well as 24 hour emergency support in any crisis.
- Our School Support Service has been developed to include special guardianship arrangements, student placement, profiling and assessment of candidates, foreign language support in the communication with overseas parents, assistance with out-of-school activities and any emergency support in case of suspension/expulsion or another guardian not being available, etc. (School support).
- Conversant in many languages, we do our very best to help parents who do not fully understand English. Our truly International Office on request is able to arrange translation into Russian, French, German, Polish, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese and a few more languages.
- Have you noticed the AEGIS logo throughout our website? AEGIS stands for 'The Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students'. We were one of the first organisations to become fully accredited by AEGIS and so we meet the very high standards in hosting international students recognized by the Department for Education, the NCSC (National Care Standards Commission), the Social Services and the British Council. We are delighted to say that our AEGIS Inspection Report declared us to be "...an exemplar of the very best practice".
